Our Story
ShipEX was founded in 2007 with one truck and one trailer, and the desire to make a difference. Over a decade later, a lot has changed, but not our mentality. Our fleet may have grown to over 350 trucks, but we haven’t forgotten who is at the core of our business: the drivers. We still know every driver by name and we invest in equipment that will improve their experience.

Our fleet consists entirely of late model Freightliner Cascadias and Volvo VNL 860s. These trucks have been relentlessly optimized to strike the perfect balance between form and function. We understand that while drivers are out, they spend significant amounts of time in the cab of their truck. Not just while they’re driving, but also eating, sleeping, doing paperwork, exercising, and everything else that comes with life on the road. If you’re going to spend 100 hours per week in a cab, it had better be comfortable. They say that dog is man’s best friend, and we don’t think you should have to leave your best friend behind just because you drive OTR. That’s why ShipEX has a free pet program – starting day 1, you can bring your furry friends with you
on the road, no breed restrictions.
Satellite Radio
Nothing helps break up the monotony of the road like a good talk show or a long set of your favorite music. Entertainment is essential for driving OTR, so every single one of our truck comes with Sirius XM satellite radio included.
Refrigerator
We want our drivers to be successful in all facets of their lives, not just mileage output. That includes their health, well-being, and financial stability. Every ShipEX truck comes equipped with a durable, spacious refrigerator/freezer combo to help drivers save money and stay healthy by facilitating meal
preparation while on the road.
Bunk Heater
At ShipEX, we prioritize safety above all else. During the winter, when conditions become too sever to proceed safely, we encourage our drivers to pull over and wait it out. For this reason, every truck comes equipped with a bunk heater, which allows drivers to heat the cab without having to ideal their truck.
